Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ services are intended for users eighteen (18) and older. Veritas Bookkeeping Services does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone younger than age eighteen (18). If Veritas Bookkeeping Services becomes aware that a child younger than eighteen (18) has provided Veritas Bookkeeping Services with Personal Information, Veritas Bookkeeping Services will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our files. UNLESS YOU REQUEST THAT Veritas Bookkeeping Services DELETE CERTAIN INFORMATION, Veritas Bookkeeping Services MAY RETAIN THE INFORMATION THAT Veritas Bookkeeping Services HAS COLLECTED FOR AT LEAST FIVE (5) YEARS AND MAY RETAIN THE INFORMATION FOR AS LONG AS NEEDED FOR Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ BUSINESS AND LEGAL PURPOSES.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Veritas Bookkeeping Services may share aggregated Non-Identifying Information and Veritas Bookkeeping Services may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information to third parties. Veritas Bookkeeping Services may share information regarding Talent that Veritas Bookkeeping Services deems relevant to your potential assignment to a particular Client, including, but not limited to, the information contained in your Profile.
If you have entered into a Service Contract with another User, Veritas Bookkeeping Services may provide the User with your name, address, or tax ID or VAT number in order to complete the transaction or to facilitate the resolution of a claim or dispute. The user receiving your information is not allowed to use it for purposes unrelated to the transaction, such as to contact you for marketing purposes, unless you have expressly consented to it.
Veritas Bookkeeping Services may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ website, to provide Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ website on our behalf, to perform Veritas Bookkeeping Services website-related maintenance, database management, web analytics and online advertising, payment processing, fraud detection, and overall improvements of Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ features or to assist Veritas Bookkeeping Services in analyzing how Veritas Bookkeeping Services’ website is used.
